September 11, 2009 - Corey Cinicola completes 11-of-13 passes for 187 yards and four touchdowns to lead Jim Thorpe to a convincing 42-0 Anthracite Football League victory over Mahanoy Area. The Olympians, coached by Mark Rosenberger, gain a lead on the opening kickoff when P.J. Johnson races 85 yards to the end zone. Cinicola connects with Cody Baier on an 8-yard first-quarter TD toss before hitting Jon Fritz with a 25-yard score. In the second, Cinicola again throws touchdown passes to Baier (20 yards) and Fritz (69 yards) to put the game out of reach. The winners also receive a 5-yard TD run from Shane Edwards.
