Lower Towamensing Township supervisors addressed several items during Sept. 5 meeting.

The Covered Bridge Inn near the base of Blue Mountain received approval to install a sidewalk and curb. The inn has two more permits that it is waiting for approval from the township and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

They are highway occupancy permits and are for paving the parking lot and storm drainage management.

The inn is also seeking the township’s approval for additional renovations.

• The township received an estimate of $11,200 to repair the rugby hoist on its HINO 338 dump truck.

• Architectural Polymers received approval for changes in the property improvement plan. The company broke down phases of the project, which includes expanded parking, a concrete retaining wall, a pad and storm water drainage.
