Police are on the scene at Princeton Avenue Apartments in Palmerton, where it was reported a 40-year-old woman was stabbed.

The incident was reported at 4 p.m. at the complex, located at 901 Princeton Ave.

The suspect escaped, according to reports on scene.

State police are investigating.
