State police at Lehighton barracks reported on several incidents:
• Police were summoned to the Country Junction, Interchange Road, Towamensing Township, on Aug. 23 to investigate a reported shoplifting incident.
Police said between 2:50 and 3:20 p.m., an older white man, wearing a Navy ball cap and a T-shirt that read “Civil War 2024,” was seen leaving the property in a blue Chevrolet Silverado after being observed stealing from the store.
• James Petrides, 77, and Donna Petrides, 68, both of Lindenhurst, New York, were charged with stalking/harassment after they were summoned at 7:51 p.m. Aug. 29 to a property on Forest Drive in Polk Township.
Police said the victim is a 30-year-old woman from Kunkletown.
• A 42-year-old Palmerton woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop.
They stopped her in a 2012 Ford Escape for a Motor Vehicle Code violation at the intersection of Church and Firehouse roads in Towamensing Township.
The woman was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
