A resource fair will be held in Palmerton to assist families who have specific needs such as food insecurities.
Raising the House will hold the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the S.S. Palmer Elementary gymnasium.
Representatives from organizations such as Second Harvest Food Bank will be on hand to help families.
The event is dedicated to providing valuable information, assistance, and resources to families within the Palmerton community who are seeking support opportunities.
This event was created in response to a recognition of families in need of long-term financial support by Raising the House.
The resource fair will showcase an array of local booths, each carefully chosen to help families achieve better stability and address their fundamental needs.
The Resource Fair is a free and for all individuals and families in the Palmerton area who are seeking information and assistance.
