Helen Reilly, 36, of Saylorsburg, was cited for a dog law offense by state police at the Stroudsburg barracks after they responded to an incident at 7:15 a.m. Aug. 10 in Hamilton Township.

Police said a 63-year-old woman, also from Saylorsburg, told them she was walking her dogs on Lake Road in the township when Reilly’s unleashed dog got out of the house and approached her in the roadway, resulting in police issuing the leash law citation.
