The Kids Closet Sale is hosting its fall sale Sept. 19-21 at the Slatington Expo Center on Route 873 in Slatington.
This is the last sale for the year and the shelves are filled with clothing from every season.
“We usually only offer fall and winter clothing during our fall sale. However, due to popular demand, we wanted to open up our racks for any season. Now families can save on any season of new or gently-used clothing, toys and household items. No matter if its shorts, coats, boots, sandals, swim or snow gear.” said Jennifer Benninger, the Advertising Director at the Times News Media Group and coordinator for the Kids Closet Sale.
The September sale will offer something for everyone with more than 15,000 items. Inventory will not only include children’s new and gently-used clothing, sizes newborn through junior, but also home décor, toys, books and sports gear. Every item goes through an inspection process which checks for damage, stains and imperfections to ensure good quality. All electronic devices will include batteries and can be tested on site.
Hundreds of items are donated after the sale to a local church and any blankets, pillows and suitable stuffed animals to an animal shelter.
Public shopping hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Wednesday, Sept. 20 and the half-price sale (on most items) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21. New moms and VIP Pass Holders shop early from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19.
The first three hundred shoppers who attend the Kids Closet Sale will receive a swag bag containing goodies from sponsors. There will also be ticket giveaway to the Crayola Experience in Easton, two per family while supplies last.
