Julie Rodak
Town: Barnesville
Work location: LVH-Carbon
Job Title: Emergency Room, Registered Nurse
How long you have worked there: I joined the LVHN team in June of 2022, just after the opening of the LVH-Carbon site.
Background, Education: I became a Registered Nurse in 2014, after working and volunteering in prehospital services since 2005. I volunteered as an EMT in high school and later obtained my paramedic certification through Luzerne County Community College in 2009. Since becoming a Registered Nurse, I have gained experience working in emergency services, intensive care, and home care. I’m currently a member of the Engagement and Education Committees at LVH-Carbon.
Information about you and your family: I live in Barnesville with my partner, Marc, and our two young sons, Marc and Benjamin. When not at work, I enjoy traveling and spending my time with my family.
Why you like working for LVHN: The best part of working at LVH-Carbon is the people I work alongside. We provide care in a small-town hospital, but I feel we deliver world-class care to the people in our communities. This would not be possible without incredible teamwork and dedication from every single team member.
