Luncheon
Pottsville Christian Women’s Club is hosting a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 19. Speaker is Candi Johnson with special music by Teresa Heller.
There will be a special time for shopping at our “County Fair.”

Rush-Ryan Seniors
The Rush-Ryan-Delano Senior citizens met on Aug. 22 with 39 members in attendance. Members on the sick list include Jayne McLaughlin.
Refreshments were provided by the Neifert and Mundy families. Baskets were donated by M. Kulago, Kylie Usalis and Joan Brown. Winners were Diane Gould and Mary Taylor.
The group meets at 1 p.m. at the White Church, Barnesville on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.
Zion Lewistown
Pastor Jim Williams will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. worship service this Sunday at Zion Church Lewistown Valley. Communion will be served during this service. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
Andreas VFW
Andreas VFW Post 5069 will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. to dedicate a new picnic table in memory of Herbert Wink Jr. Regular meeting will start at 7 p.m.

Lewistown Valley Tabernacle
The 110th Lewistown Valley Campmeeting with services will take place each night through Sept. 4 with Larry and Tamla Leckrone Ministries of Norman, Indiana.
Week nights begin at 7 p.m., while Sunday and Labor Day nights begin at 6 p.m.
Featured on Sunday will be River Of Grace Quartet at 2:30 p.m. On Labor Day, a concert with Mended Heart at 2:30 p.m.

Tamaqua Seniors
The Tamaqua Senior Citizens met on Aug. 24 with 25 members in attendance. Vice-president Shirley Kaiser opened the meeting with the reading “When Love Is Shared.”
A Christmas party is being planned at DiMaggio’s by majority vote.
The group meets at 1 p.m. at the Coaldale Complex every Thursday. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.
