The Fine Wine & Good Spirits Store in Palmerton has been rejuvenated upon the completion of remodeling work.

Located at 221 Delaware Ave., the store reopened Aug. 21 and sports a new floor and signs, and is now handicapped accessible.

To celebrate its reopening, all in-store wines, spirits and accessories were 10% off during regular business hours Aug. 21-23.

The 10% off sale was only on items in the Palmerton store during these three days.

The shop was temporarily closed July 8 by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board so it could be refreshed.

At that time, PLCB spokesman Shawn Kelly said most of its 585 Fine Wine & Good Spirits Stores in the state have or were being refreshed.

Kelly said it was time for the Fine Wine & Spirits Store in Palmerton to receive the same care.

While the Palmerton store was closed for renovation, customers were able to shop at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits Stores in Lehighton and Walnutport (Walnutport Shopping Center).

The Fine Wine & Good Spirits Store in Palmerton is open from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
