The year 1964 is an important one in the annals of the First Presbyterian Church in Summit Hill for it was 125 years ago that this landmark was established in the town. Fitting ceremonies will begin this week and run through October in observance of the anniversary.

The present Session of the church includes moderator, the Rev. Robert J. Roberts; elders, Fred Llewellyn, clerk, and J. Earl Henry, benevolence treasurer, and Attorney Thomas S. McCready, John M. Gormey, Wesley J. Hiles, Warren Strauss and Fred Halpin.

Living inactive elders are Robert M. Forrest, William Haughton, Francis Hartranft, Kenneth Forrest, William Derby, Walter Miller, William Gardiner, Thomas Barr, Cecil Johns, Lawrence Henry and Wilson McElmoyle.
