Vincent Genovese, author of “The Angel of Ashland” and “The Pottsville Maroons and the NFL’s Stolen Championship of 1925,” will discuss and sign copies of his latest book, “Billy, We Hardly Knew Ya,” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, the Schuylkill County Historical Society, 305 N. Centre St., Pottsville.

The book recounts the story of Minersville High School football player William Ulmer, who died during a game in 1943.
