Brandon M. Weiss, 24, of Palmerton, sustained “suspected minor injuries” in a one-vehicle crash at 1:03 p.m. on Aug. 17 on Cherry Valley Road in Hamilton Township.

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said he was treated by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association, but did not require a medical transport.

Police said he was driving a 1995 Freightliner northbound when it traveled off the right side of the road, entered a ditch and struck a tree. The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.

Police said Weiss was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
