Retirement

• Nina Green, special education teacher, Slatington Elementary School, effective Aug. 7, after 33 years of service.

Resignations

• Lisa Hairston, second grade teacher, Peters Elementary School, effective June 21; Amanda Grozier, special education paraprofessional, effective July 19; Lindsey Hassay, cook’s helper, Slatington Elementary School, effective June 2; Jose Batista Cardena, student summer worker, effective June 22; Shelly Frantz, cook’s helper, effective Aug. 8; Drake Pristash, district wide substitute teacher, effective Aug. 1; Gabrielle Werkheiser, secondary Biology teacher, Northern Lehigh High School, no later than the end of the work day on Oct. 6, or upon release.

• Appointment of Pricilla Martell, full-time custodian; Gabryelle Wilder, assistant field hockey coach; Allison Chruscial, middle school field hockey coach - shared stipend; and Shannon Jones, middle school field hockey coach - shared stipend - all on the June 12 school board meeting agenda.

• Megan Fink and Jessica Jackovitz as district wide permanent substitute teachers for the 2023-2024 school year, who will be paid a daily per diem rate of $150, and will receive district health benefits according to the Affordable Care Act regulations with co-payment amounts equivalent to that of district personnel.
