Two Northern Lehigh School Board directors have been acknowledged for their years of service to the district.

Superintendent Matthew J. Link last week presented certificates of recognition to directors Robin Distler and Gale Husack from the Pennsylvania School Board Association.

Distler has served 12 years on the board, and Husack eight years.

“Our school board members give a lot of their time to our district, toward our students, our faculty, and really the whole community ensuring that our students have resources and opportunities,” Link said. “They do that as a volunteer; they’re not receiving any sort of compensation for the hours and thought, and often times stress that they put into operating the school district here, and we are all very grateful for that.”
