Two drivers were injured Tuesday morning in a crash at the Route 209/Liberty Road intersection of Jim Thorpe Borough.

Police said a vehicle driven by Jacqui Morgans, 52, of Jim Thorpe, pulled out from Liberty Road in the path of a vehicle driven by Jamie Turner, 43, of Tamaqua, just before 8 a.m.

Morgans and Turner were transported to St. Luke’s Carbon Campus for further evaluation.

Members of the Jim Thorpe Municipal Fire Department assisted on the scene.
