A 42-year-old man from Duryea is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance filed against him by state police at Lehighton.

Police said he was driving a 2008 Ford Focus at the intersection of Pohopoco Drive and Pine Run Road in Towamensing Township at the time of the traffic stop.
