A Slatington man was killed Friday after he sustained injuries from a motorcycle crash in Lehigh County.

According to the Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, Evyn Hummel, 26, was operating a motorcycle when he and a motor vehicle collided in the area of 3016 Main St., Washington Township.

The crash happened at approximately 1:17 p.m.

Hummel was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead as a result of blunt force injuries sustained during the crash.

Pennsylvania State Police, Bethlehem, is investigating the crash.
