The Carbon Career & Technical Institute Joint Operating Committee officially welcomed a longtime administrative director back for the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year.

Last week, the committee approved an agreement with David Reinbold to serve as the interim administrative director and the Carbon Career & Technical Institute Joint Operating Committee, as well as records retention officer for the 2023-2024 school year.

Reinbold will serve in this capacity until Dec. 31.

“My goal is just to get the year off to a good start,” Reinbold said, noting that he has met with 16 teachers so far, and is planning to meet each of them one-on-one.

“I want to thank everyone for helping me hit the ground running,” Reinbold said. “We’re off to a good start.”

Reinbold had served as administrative director for many years until retiring in 2022.

Brent Borzak was appointed director April 1, 2022, but resigned earlier this year for personal and health reasons.
