Lake Harmony woman charged with stalking

A Lake Harmony woman has been charged with stalking a man around his property.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by police Chief Matthew Kuzma of the Kidder Township Police Department in the case against Cynthia Hallock:

Late Aug. 1 into early Aug. 2, Kuzma received a call from a man in the 100 block of Snow Ridge Circle to report that Hallock, 56, was walking around his property and he had her on camera.

The man said that after he checked his camera, he noticed that Hallock was walking around his property the night of Aug. 1.

Hallock was under bail conditions to stay away from the man from a case in July.

Kuzma spoke with the man, and while pulling out of his residence, noticed Hallock standing next to the man’s deck trying to put a sign on a tree in front of his window.

Hallock immediately started to walk toward her residence. Kuzma took her into custody on her deck.

Upon speaking with the man, he was extremely scared of Hallock, and showed Sgt. Yurchak a surveillance camera video of Hallock walking around his property on this date.

Hallock faces charges of stalking, defiant trespass, and intimidation of witness or victims.

Hallock is in the Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, and scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 16 before District Judge Joseph D. Homanko Sr. of Weatherly.
