Indians’ Bayto Cokrlija wins tennis tournament

The Valley Royale tennis club in Lehighton recently hosted a Universal Tennis USA Tournament. Lehighton’s Bayto Cokrlija won the 10-player event, which featured players from the Lehigh Valley, Scranton, Philadelphia and New Jersey. The Tribe’s Isaac Carpenter advanced to the semifinals of the tournament, while Bekim Cokrlija made it to the quarters. A special guest for the tournament was Moravian University head tennis coach Mariana Freitas.
