Joseph Mancuso and James Sauka of Nesquehoning are once again in possession of the world record long-distance egg throwing honors, having recorded a toss of 232 feet, 5 inches last night at the Nesquehoning Stadium.

Two Australians had established a record of 203 feet, 9 inches, before Mancuso and Sauka outdistanced them, but the local men were outdone by Jeff Moser of Schnecksville and Brian Weida of Neffs, who held the record at 213 feet, 8 inches.

Mancuso’s toss to Sauka last night re-established their title and was witnessed by Joseph Paluck, Joseph Ligenza, Joseph Slivka and Joseph Gigliotti but not before the duo went through three dozen of eggs.
