July 28, 2015 - Jim Thorpe captures the Panther Valley Little League 9-10 Tournament championship with a 5-3 victory over Anthracite White in a match-up of undefeated teams. Garrett Lienhard delivers a key two-run double in the contest and then pitches the final 1 2/3 innings to save the win for starter Ryan Behler. Chad Baldassario and Behler both collect two hits and score a run for Thorpe, while Adam Romanchick and Leah Snisky also finish with two hits apiece. Rich Strack chips in with a hit and an RBI. For Anthracite, Michael Pascoe and Drew Kokinda both end with two hits and an RBI.
