King’s College basketball player and Marian Catholic graduate Brendan Lonergan was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Lonergan finished his freshman season at Kings appearing in 21 out of 24 games as a first year forward for the Monarchs. He averaged 14.5 minutes, 4.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, while shooting 74.1 percent from the free throw line. He recorded a season-high 12 points with eight rebounds and three assists in a win over Penn College.
Off the court, Lonergan was named to the Dean’s List for both the fall and spring semesters, finishing the academic year with a 3.94 GPA while pursuing a degree in exercise science with career goal of being a physical therapist.
