July 22, 2011 - Tamaqua belts five home runs, two by Casey Rother, to power its way to a 12-10 victory over Pennridge in the Section 6 10-11 tournament. Rother connects for a two-run blast in the first inning and adds a two-run shot in the sixth. He finishes the contest with three hits and four runs. The winners, coached by Charlie Kistler, also receive homers from Josh Inama, Cody Scherer and Zeke Wassell. Inama’s two-run dinger comes in the first, while Scherer, also with a two-run homer, and Wassell connect in the sixth.
