Judge Carluccio makes stop in Carbon County

Judge Carolyn Carluccio of Montgomery County, the Republican nominee for the state State Supreme Court, visited Carbon County on Wednesday.

She started her visit with a courthouse tour where she was welcomed and walked around with Sheriff Dan Zeigler and District Attorney Michael Greek. She then visited Platz’s Restaurant, now a PJ Whelihan’s, in Lehighton to discuss her candidacy with voters.

Carluccio finished her evening at the Carbon County Republican Committee’s summer picnic where she spoke about her message to bring balance and a fresh perspective to the state’s highest court. This is her second time in Carbon County and she committed to visiting all 67 counties of the Commonwealth.

When asked about her experience in Carbon County, Carluccio said “As soon as I walked into the courthouse, I felt welcomed and a strong feeling of community. The atmosphere at Platz’s felt so homey and loving. I am grateful to the Carbon County Republican Committee for all of their work they did for me in the primary and are going to do in the general election this fall. It is a top priority of my campaign to make sure the rural areas of this Commonwealth are visited and their voice is represented on the state supreme court. I greatly enjoyed my second time in Carbon County.”
