A total of 275 cases were started in May the office of Carbon County Prothonotary Kayla M. Semmel, according to a monthly statistical report released by the office.
Civil Action 36; Custody 14; DJ Appeal 2; Divorce 18; Ejectment 2; Judgments 131; cases field miscellaneous 3; Protection from Abuse, Sexual Violence or Intimidation) 1; Name Change 2; Stip/Waiv Liens 4; License Appeal 2; Mortgage Foreclosure 10; Protection from Abuse 39; Quiet Title 1; 43 passport applications were processed in November. In addition, a total of 13 renewal applicants sought assistance from the office and 49 passport photos were taken. Passports are by appointment and pictures can now be taken in the office.
