A 2016 Honda Pilot had its windshield damaged when a box flew off a vehicle or its trailing unit at 2 p.m. July 13 on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said Allison S. Ogren, 36, of Newport News, Virginia, was southbound in the left lane behind the vehicle when the incident happened and the vehicle which contained the box failed to stop.

Ogren and three passengers, including a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old, all escaped injuries.

The car sustained functional damages, police said.
