I am urging all females age 18 and older (that’s you Gen Z) to get registered to vote; your life may depend on it.

After the catastrophic Dobbs decision, it is now clear the consequences are far worse than we feared. Women and girls in need of reproductive health care are being refused care, even after severe life threatening complications. Many states have quickly taken away reproductive rights, including privacy rights (surveillance) pushed by male politicians who don’t understand the female reproductive system, let alone the intricacies and serious life threatening complications of pregnancy.

Republicans in Pennsylvania have voted time and time again against reproductive rights. Democrats have only one seat advantage in the PA House and despite having a Democratic governor, there has been no change in the governing process. See “Fix Harrisburg.”

HR 8373 the Federal “The Right to Contraception Act” was a resounding NO for Pennsylvania Republican males; Joyce, Keller, Meuser, Perry, Reschenthaler, Smucker, and Thompson.

And while you may not have health insurance, let alone to cover expensive pregnancy complications, the men mentioned above get a cushy salary of $232K and PA House receives $103K and a tiny percentage is taken out for “Gold” level family health insurance.

Medical professionals deal with moral injury every day, add to that the corporate takeover of our medical system as medical decisions are made by bean counters. Doctors have been threatened and fired for raising concerns about quality of care because they feel ethically compromised and unable to fill their Hippocratic oath. Now, add the depraved abortion laws.

We are losing our freedoms day by day from (the minority) Republicans who only care about power and control.
