Several unkempt properties in Bowmanstown are in need of some TLC.

Council President Pam Leiby addressed the problem at Tuesday’s borough council meeting.

Leiby said the borough has fielded complaints “about people not mowing their grass, taking care of their properties.”

“We do have an ordinance,” Leiby said. “I think we’ll have to probably revise this.”

Leiby said the issue needs to be dealt with.

“I think we have to find a way to enforce this,” she said. “We have to do something.”

Leiby added that the borough office has been sending letters out to get that done.
