July 14, 1996 - Kyle Faust has a strong game pitching and hitting to help the North Division gain a 12-3 victory over the South in the Carbon-Schuylkill Youth Baseball League 14-15 year-old All-Star game. Faust, of West Penn, tosses three scoreless innings, striking out five. At the plate, he collects two hits and four RBIs. Brad Yurichek of Nesquehoning also pitches three innings, striking out six, and adds two hits offensively. Starter Tim Matula of Lansford CNB earns the win, giving up one run and one hit while fanning four in three innings. Matt Stauffer of West Penn chips in with two hits.
