Thomas J. Morris III, 35, of Bowmanstown, was cited by state police at the Lehighton barracks with “stop and yield signs” after a two-vehicle crash at 7:50 p.m. July 6 on the Mahoning Mountain Road in East Penn Township.

Police said he was driving a 2016 Volkswagen Golf when he pulled out of the intersection of Mahoning Mountain Road with Troxell Road, failing to clear the intersection and causing a crash with a 2020 Ford Escape operated by George B. Mager Jr., 74, of Quakertown. Police said both vehicles sustained disabling damages.

They said both drivers and Susan Mager, 73, also of Quakertown, refused medical treatment after the crash.
