The Berlinsville Braves stormed back to pick up a win in Blue Mountain League action Tuesday, while Tamaqua rolled to a victory in the Panther Valley Little League Tournament.

A big fourth inning helped the Berlinsville Braves rally past the Northampton Giants for an 11-8 win in Blue Mountain League action.

Rommel Perez blasted a go-ahead three-run homer for the Braves (10-11) in the fourth inning. Jack Chapman launched a game-tying three-run homer in the third. Owen Fischl was 3-for-3 with an RBI, two runs scored and a walk as Berlinsville rallied from a 6-3 deficit after the second inning. Shane Fillman was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, while Cole Serfass (RBI, run scored), Noah Snisky (RBI) and Austin Mueller (RBI, two runs scored and two walks) also had hits.

Ryan Petrucci had a three-run homer in the first inning for the Giants (15-8-1). Brit Shander was 2-for-2 with a triple, two runs scored and two walks. Jake Cambria (RBI, run scored) and Nick Henry (two RBIs, run scored, walk) also doubled.

Tamaqua-Towamensing

Tamaqua posted a 21-0 win in three innings over Towamensing in the Panther Valley Little League Tournament.

Abram Graver paced an 18-hit attack for Tamaqua, going 3-for-4 with four RBIs and two runs scored. Evan Shannon (three RBIs, two runs scored), Brayden Schultz (double, two RBIs, three runs scored), Grayson Smith (RBI, run scored), Brady Bartczak (RBI, two runs scored), Josh Setlock (run scored), Jackson Faust (two RBIs, two runs scored). and Gavin Lutz (two RBIs, two runs scored) all had two hits in the win. Jackson Perez added a hit and drove in two runs and also scored twice.

Schultz also pitched three hitless innings, striking out eight in the win.

C. Troxell walked twice for Towamensing.
