State Police at Fogelsville incidents

State police at Fogelsville reported the following:

• Police were called to Lynn Township on June 22 to investigate a criminal mischief incident.

Police said a 39-year-old New Tripoli man told them someone damaged the trim on a door at his residence along Schochary Road between May 1 and June 22. The damages are estimated at $250, police said.

• A 42-year-old New Tripoli man was cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to an inactive disturbance at 7:46 a.m. June 28 at a property on Memorial Road in Lynn Township.

• A 32-year-old Brodheadsville man and a 37-year-old woman from Charleston, West Virginia, were cited by with harassment by physical contact after police were called to investigate an incident that happened June 22 in the area of the Movie Tavern in Lower Macungie Township.

Police said a verbal argument turned physical when the man bit the woman in the right foot, after which time she kicked him in the face.

• A 31-year-old Germansville man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop.

Police said they stopped the man at 11:32 p.m. June 22 at the intersection of Bake Oven and Werley’s Corner roads in Heidelberg Township.

His car was towed from the scene, police said.

• A 37-year-old man from Weatherly was harassed at 4 p.m. May 21 on South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township.

Police said the man was being accused of not paying for services to a business he never dealt with. Police said they were told the man had been contacted repeatedly by the business owner.

• A bomb threat that was made at 1:38 p.m. June 14 at the Nordstrom Rack business, 750 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, was determined to be non-credible.

Police said they were called there when a 41-year-old Danielsville woman who is an employee of the business received a telephone call from a man who stated a bomb was inside the store, demanding prepaid gift cards.

Police evacuated the store and later learned the business has had multiple bomb scares in the past two months by an individual attempting to obtain gift cards.

• A 29-year-old New Tripoli woman was cited for harassment by after they were summoned at 9:27 p.m. June 20 to a property on Borman Road in Lynn Township.

A 58-year-old woman from New Tripoli told police the woman pushed her to the floor during an argument. Police said the woman fled the scene and refused to answer calls to her telephone.

• Police were summoned at 1:25 p.m. May 19 to a property on Country Spring Road, Lowhill Township, to investigate a theft by deception case involving a man’s credit/ATM card.

Police said an 18-year-old man from New Tripoli was tricked by a caller into providing his login information to his bank account.

Police said the man notified the fraud department of his bank, Members First, and did not lose money.

• Police were summoned at 12:02 p.m. June 1 to a property at the intersection of Warden and Kistler roads in Lowhill Township to investigate a report of a lost revolver.

Police said the Ruger Black Hawk 357 revolver was last seen at 2:30 p.m. May 27 at the Game Lands shooting range.
