July 7, 1964 - Two Lehighton athletes, George Ferko and Paul Keiser, both earn honors at the 13th Annual B’nai B’rith Olympics. Ferko, who was a member of the Indian track and field team, gains a second place in the senior pole vault event. Keiser, who graduated a year earlier, places in two events in the open competitions. Keiser takes second in the century run and also records a runner-up finish in the 440.
