The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered on the Lord’s Day at SS. Peter and Paul Parish by the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr., on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. Daily Masses are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 8 a.m.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Mondays and Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m., and 30 minutes before Masses on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Until the end of August, Adoration from noon to 9 p.m. and Confessions from 5 to 6 p.m. will take place on Thursdays. We still need adorers between 6 and 9 p.m.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Allentown is accepting appointments and walk-ins at the parish convent building now every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Services include: individual, marriage, and family counseling; pregnancy and parenting support (counseling, material assistance such as diapers, wipes, baby items); and supportive services (case management, material assistance, emergency rental assistance, referrals). The parish’s Saint Vincent de Paul Society hosts “Vincent’s Closet” by appointment in the former convent building on 242 N. 3rd St. The society offers clothing and toiletries for those in need, and seeks donations of gift cards for local stores. Call the Rectory for more information.
The “Backyard Bash Block Party” will take place on July 21 and 22 from 5 to 10 p.m. on the parish grounds.
