Dr. Eugene S. Stine, Lehighton R. 7, has been named “Crew- person of the Year” by the Carbon County Emergency Medical Services Association.

Dr. Stine began his interest in emergency medicine with a Red Cross First Aid Course in 1955. Following service to companies in Lehigh and Northampton counties, he became associated with the EMSA of Carbon County in 1976. He has served with the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Corps and is presently serving on the board of directors. He is a charter member of the East Penn Township Volunteer Fire Company and began active membership with it upon moving to the township in 1976.
