An apartment building collapsed over the weekend near the village of Gilberton. The incident occurred at 1313 Main St. in the Maizeville section. Route 54 just west of Gilberton. The upper floors of the east side of the wood frame structure collapsed causing an immediate decision to level the building. No injuries were reported in the incident. During the demolition Main Street is being reduced to one alternating lane of travel.
