Robert McDonough
Town: Souderton.
Work location: LVH-Carbon
Job Title: Facilities Manager
How long have you worked there: 16 months
Why you like your job: Getting to work together with a team to make LVH-Carbon a shining star of LVHN.
Challenges/proud moments of your job: LVH-Carbon is a new facility, just over 1 year old. The community, colleagues and patients always remark on the beautiful campus and I’m proud to work with a great team to maintain and respond to issues as they arise.
Constructing an additional unit on top of the existing building certainly had its challenges. Along with getting to know a new building. Like a new house, unexpected issues with plumbing or roof leaks, reveal themselves over time and across seasons. But I have a great and resourceful team – we work well together to meet every new challenge and continue to learn along the way.
Background, Education: High School and Machine Trade School. I was Facilities Director at two retirement communities before joining LVHN.
Family information: I’m married to my wife Christina, and have three daughters – Laura, Jacqueline, Ashley, a son, Riley, two granddaughters – Margot and Brielle, and our dog, Molly.
Why you like working for LVHN: Here at Carbon we work as a team. As a team we can accomplish anything and have proved it many times.
