Carbon County’s newest building in Lehighton is closed today due to a sewer issue.

Commissioner Rocky Ahner reported that the offices located in the 525 Iron St., building will not be open to the public. Children and Youth Services is working remotely, while St. Luke’s Wound Care is rescheduling patients.

He said that work on the issue will take place this morning with the hopes of resolving the problem later this morning.
