A Schuylkill County man has died from injuries suffered in a crash on March 6 in Hegins Township.

The Lehigh County coroner’s office said Leroy K. Smith, 83, was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.

He was the driver of car that went off the road and hit several parked vehicles.

The incident occurred in the 600 block of East Main Street, Hegins Township.

The Hegins Township police department is investigating.
