Carbon County Court Judge Joseph J. Matika has accepted two people into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. Acceptance into the program is not an admission of guilt.
Dana Rose Yuricheck, 37, of Nesquehoning, was accepted for one year. She’ll pay $600 to offset the cost of the program, plus a $50 monthly supervision fee and a $75 LiveScan fee; surrender her license for 60 days; and an alcohol safety program.
Yuricheck was charged with DUI of a controlled substance; DUI of a controlled substance, metabolite; and DUI of a controlled substance on Sept. 6, 2022.
Brandon Michael Swartz III, 18, of Albrightsville, was accepted for one year. He’ll pay $600 to offset the cost of the program, plus a $50 monthly supervision fee; surrender his license for 90 days; complete an alcohol safety program and render 50 hours of community service.
Swartz was charged with DUI of a controlled substance, first offense; DUI of a controlled substance, first offense; use or possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use; no rear lights; driving without a license; exceeding the speed limit by 20 mph, and careless driving on Jan. 10, 2023.
