State police at Lehighton released information on the following DUI cases:

• An 18-year-old woman from Saylorsburg is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a one-vehicle crash at 2:58 a.m. June 24 at the intersection of Meixsell Valley Road and Highpoint Drive in Ross Township.

Police said she was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox westbound on Meixsell Valley Road when she lost control of the vehicle. It traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole.

• A 61-year-old Palmerton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Police said they stopped him while driving a 2006 Ford at 2:44 p.m. June 13 on Interchange Road in Towamensing Township.

• Charles McVey, 42, of Brooklyn, New York, is facing charges of driving under the influence of controlled substance.

Police said he was stopped at 12:49 a.m. May 29 at the intersection of Pohopoco Drive and Pine Run Road in Towamensing Township while driving a 2008 Volvo.

• A 50-year-old Lehighton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop.

Police said they stopped him for traffic violations while he was driving a 2023 Hyundai Kona at 9:30 p.m. June 5 at the intersection of East Second and Cedar streets in Franklin Township.

• A 58-year-old Lehighton woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.

Police said they stopped her for Motor Vehicle Code violations while she was driving a 2012 Nissan Rogue at 1:47 a.m. June 22 at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Church Street in Palmerton.

Police charged a 53-year-old man from Hanover Township for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at 12:54 a.m. June 12.

Police said they stopped him at the intersection of Lehigh Drive and Route 248 in Bowmanstown Borough.

• A 22-year-old Walnutport man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop.

Police said they stopped her for traffic offenses while she was driving a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta at 1:47 a.m. June 25 at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Fifth Street in Palmerton.
