The Franklin Township 9-10 All-Stars posted two victories over the weekend.

Franklin Township-

Jim Thorpe

Jakoby Andrews and Jake Kistner combined to toss a two-hit shutout, as Franklin Township knocked off Jim Thorpe for a 5-0 win in 9-10 All-Star action on Sunday.

Andrews started for Franklin Township on the mound and struck out seven, walked one and allowed two hits for the win. Kistner went two innings and struck out five and without surrendering a walk in relief.

Kistner led the way at the plate, as he recorded two singles and an RBI. Miles Mann added a double, a run scored and two RBIs.

Jaxon O. and Cam M. recorded hits for Thorpe.

Franklin Township

Franklin Township held off Tamaqua for a 6-4 win 9-10 All-Star win on Saturday.

Jake Kistner paced Franklin Township with a single, a double, a run scored and an RBI, while Brody Hunsicker added two singles, a run scored and an RBI. Jakoby Andrews added two singles and a run scored.

Abram Graver led the way for Tamaqua, as he posted a single, a walk and two runs scored.

Hellertown

Brady Flores pitched a five-inning no-hitter to lead Hellertown past Franklin Township for a 11-0 win in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack action.

Flores struck out six and walked three on the mound for the Panthers, who gave their starter plenty of run support. Joey Dries recorded a single, double, three runs scored and two RBIs in the win.

Flores helped his own cause with a single, double and three RBIs, while Eli Szlachtianshyn added a single, double, two runs scored and an RBI.

Braylon Hunsicker, Tegan Hettler and Aiden McCarroll reached base for Franklin, as all three posted walks.

Southern Lehigh cruised to a 20-3 win over Palmerton in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack play.

J. Holland and M. Hoffman paved the way for Southern Lehigh, as both finished with a single, double, two runs scored and an RBI. Evan Pryzuski added a double, three runs scored, two walks and an RBI.

Dirk Strohl paced the Bombers, as he finished with a single and two RBIs. Gaige Vezo and Shane George both recorded a single and a run scored.

Lower Mac posted a 12-2 win over Northern Valley in Lehigh Valley Legion action.

Drew McGeehan had a big day at the plate for Lower Mac, as he recorded a single, a triple, two runs scored and three RBIs.

Ryan Bennett (two singles, a run scored), Kaden Muller (two singles, a run scored, two RBIs) and Mason Uyvari (single, double, three RBIs) all added multiple hits in the win.

Tyler Fenstermaker finished with two singles, a run scored and an RBI for Northern Valley.
