Andrew Meitzler’s clutch hit helped the Birches pulled off an extra-inning victory on Wednesday.

The Birches scored three runs in the top of the eighth inning to secure a 4-1 NORCO Legion win over Kemp Post.
Andrew Meitzler hit a two-run single in the top of the eighth to give the Birches (7-1) the lead. Rylan Adamski added two hits and Jack Smale scored two runs.
On the mound, Ben Mostosky tossed a complete game, scattering five hits across eight innings and striking out seven.
Josh McMahon struck out 11 over five innings for Kemp.

Jake Zellin’s three-hit day highlighted Salisbury’s 17-7 victory over Northern Valley in Lehigh Valley Legion action.
Zellin finished with three singles, a run scored, five RBIs and two walks. Josh Holler added a single, double and two runs scored, while Andew Grejda added two singles and three RBIs.
Tyler Fenstermaker and Shaun O’Donnell had multiple hits for the Chargers. O’Donnell finished with two singles, a run scored and an RBI, while Fenstermaker recorded two singles and a run scored. Cole Hausman finished with a double and two RBIs.

Martins Creek held off Berlinsville for a 4-3 Blue Mountain League win.
Jon Fleck was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Creekers (8-7). Matt Rosace had a hit and two RBIs in the win, while Carson Freeman added a double and scored a run.
Cole Serfass was 3-for-3 with a run scored and stolen base as the Braves (6-10) rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Shane Fillman was 2-for-4 with a triple, RBI and run scored, while Noah Snisky and Kyle Sincavage each added a hit and drove in a run.
