Local Roundup: Results from June 19
Northern Valley held off South Parkland for a Lehigh Valley Legion victory on Monday.
LEHIGH VALLEY LEGION

Northern Valley snapped a tie with two runs in the fourth inning and went on to post a 6-4 Lehigh Valley Legion victory over South Parkland.
Jacob Fagan singled leading off the fourth and eventually scored on an error to snap a 3-3 score. Sam Mauro also singled and reached home in the inning.
Trey Sterling helped add an insurance run in the sixth when he tripled and scored on a ground out.
Mauro finished the contest with two hits, while Nicholas Scott added a hit and two RBIs. Sterling and Wesley George both scored a pair of runs.
Tyler Fenstermaker was credited with the win, pitching four innings of relief and allowing just one hit, an unearned run and no walks. He also struck out three.
The win lifted the Chargers to 6-2.

BLUE MOUNTAIN LEAGUE
Northampton-Berlinsville
Berlinsville jumped out to a quick lead but Northampton rallied late to earn a 7-5 Blue Mountain League victory.
The Braves scored five runs in the home first, highlighted by a three-run homer off the bat of Palmerton product Cole Serfass.
Jim Thorpe graduate Noah Snisky chipped in with a hit and stolen base for Berlinsville, who also received a two-run homer from Austin Mueller.
Palmerton’s Luke Netznik started on the mound for the Braves, working 4 2/3 innings. He allowed seven hits and three earned runs while striking out five.
Northampton’s Nate Kester - a Northwestern grad - collected three hits and an RBI.

Branch-Hope’s Collision
A 10-run fifth inning helped Branch gain an 18-1 Schuylkill Teener League victory over Hope’s Collision.
L. Hutsko had three hits, two of them doubles, scored three times and had three RBIs. D. Carr added a pair of hits, one a triple, three runs and two RBIs.
For Hope’s Collision of Tamaqua, B. Witkowski finished with two hits.
