A Summit Hill man faces charges after a report of a large fight in the 300 block of East Fell Street in the borough in May.
Timothy Manning, 52, of East Hazard Street, was charged with reckless endangerment, three counts; disorderly conduct and reckless driving following the May 19 incident.
According to court papers, police responded to a report of a large fight and learned Manning saw his juvenile son involved in altercation, and sped down the street, nearly striking the victim.
Manning then put his truck in reverse, placed the truck in drive and again attempted to strike the victim at the Spruce and Fell streets, according to court papers.
Surveillance footage in the area collaborated the victim’s and witness’ statement, and Manning admitted to driving in an aggressive manner out of concern for his son, court papers said.
A preliminary hearing before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek is scheduled July 5.
