• Jessica M. Chase, 29, of Saylorsburg, was cited by state police at the Lehighton barracks after a two-vehicle crash at 7:33 a.m. May 31 on Route 209 (Interchange Road) in Polk Township.
Police said she was operating a 214 Mazda north on Route 209 and attempted to turn left into a parking lot directly in front of a 2013 Kia Soul driven southbound by Shelby L. Ott, 30, of Saylorsburg, Police said the Soul struck the side of the Mazda causing disabling damages to both vehicles that needed to be towed from the scene.
The two drivers escaped injuries.
• Roger D. Shoenberger, 57, of Palmerton, was cited after a crash at 5:02 p.m. May 30 at the intersection of Evergreen and Interchange roads in Towamensing Township.
Police said he was driving a 2016 GMC Sierra north on Evergreen Road when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic and emerged into the intersection in the path of a 2013 Yamaha driven by Ryan P. Mooney, 44, of Palmerton.
Police said Mooney went off the cycle and had suspected minor injuries. He was transported by Lehighton Ambulance personnel to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.
The cycle was towed from the scene.
