Cadettes and Juniors in Palmerton Girl Scout Troop 3305 chose healthcare providers, including those at St. Luke’s Carbon Campus, as the recipients of their 2023 Hometown Heroes cookie donations.
“When we started our cookie season, we asked the girls who they wanted to choose as their Hometown Heroes. Without hesitation they quickly agreed that our Healthcare Providers were most deserving for all the work they do every day to care for our community,” said Girl Scout Troop Leader Jodi Smale.
Hometown Heroes encourages the Girl Scouts to collect donations, in addition to selling cookies, to support organizations who are making a difference every day.
