Northern Valley picked up a win in Lehigh Valley Legion action on Thursday.

Wesley George tossed a complete game, three-hit shutout to lead Northern Valley past North Parkland for a 4-0 victory in Lehigh Valley Legion play.
George went the distance on the mound for the Chargers, as he struck out seven, walked two and didn’t surrender a run to earn the win.
Trey Sterling paced Northern Valley at the plate, as the leadoff hitter recorded a single, double, walk and scored all three times he reached base. Robert Croneberger chipped in with a double and two RBIs.
Matt Razzis, Tyler McNicholas and Gavin Morey accounted for all three of the Buffaloes’ hits off George.

So. Lehigh-Carbon Monarchs
Southern Lehigh rallied with a three-run seventh to claim a 3-2 Lehigh Valley Legion win over the Carbon Monarchs.
James Brown delivered a two-run single to knot things up in the seventh, and eventually scored on a wild pitch to give the visitors the lead for good.
Leadoff hitter Michael O’Neill was 3-for-3 in the win, with three singles and a run scored.
Michael Yeakel scored on an error in the third to give the Monarchs a 1-0 lead. A Carter Birnbaum RBI-single made it a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning. Rich Strack finished with two singles.

Freemansburg made the most of a nine-run second inning en route to a win over 13-4 Franklin Township in Connie Mack action.
C. Wainwright paced Freemansburg with a single, double, run scored and two RBIs. R. Marin chipped in with a triple, two runs scored and three RBIs.
G. Birnbaum, P. Rodgers and Pierce Goida all finished with multiple hits for Franklin, as all three finished with two singles. Birnbaum and Rodgers added an RBI, while Goida recorded a run scored.
